Get answers to common questions about Back and Shoulder.
Appointments typically last 30 to 45 minutes, depending on hair density, skin sensitivity, and any necessary preparation. We allow time for consultation, cleansing, waxing both shoulders and the full back, and soothing aftercare so you leave comfortable and satisfied.
Some discomfort is normal, but our trained estheticians use techniques and premium wax to minimize pain. Breath techniques, quick strips, and warmed wax reduce sensitivity. Numbing creams can be used on request after consultation to further ease first-time client concerns.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair at least a quarter-inch long. Avoid exfoliating or tanning 48 hours before. Skip heavy moisturizers or oils on the day of service. We'll cleanse the area and discuss any skin sensitivities before starting.
Most clients enjoy smooth skin for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and care. Regular waxing can extend time between sessions as regrowth becomes finer. Touch-ups are recommended every four to six weeks for consistent maintenance.
Yes; we tailor techniques and products for sensitive skin, using gentle wax formulas and slower, careful removal. Patch tests are available for new clients. Inform your esthetician about allergies, recent treatments, or medications to ensure safe, comfortable waxing.
Follow aftercare: avoid tight clothing, hot baths, and heavy sweating for 24-48 hours. Exfoliate gently two to three days after waxing and use a recommended oil or lotion to keep skin hydrated. Schedule regular waxing to reduce ingrown hair risk over time.
