Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks depending on hair growth cycles and maintenance. Regular waxing often slows regrowth and can yield longer intervals over time. Individual results vary by hormones, lifestyle, and hair type.
Some discomfort is normal, but our estheticians use premium wax and techniques to minimize pain. We offer pre-treatment tips—exfoliate gently, avoid caffeine, and consider an over-the-counter pain reliever. Regular waxing often becomes less uncomfortable over time.
Clean, dry skin works best. Exfoliate gently 48 hours before to remove dead skin, avoid heavy moisturizers on the day, and ensure hair length is about one-quarter inch. Tell us about medications or recent treatments that may affect sensitivity.
Ideal hair length is roughly one-quarter inch (about the length of a grain of rice). Too short makes waxing less effective; too long can increase discomfort. If hair is longer, we may trim slightly before waxing for optimal results.
Temporary redness, mild swelling, or tiny bumps are common immediately after waxing and usually subside within a day or two. Avoid hot baths, saunas, intense exercise, and harsh products for 24 to 48 hours. Contact us if irritation persists.
Most clients book appointments every four to six weeks depending on individual hair growth and desired smoothness. After several sessions, intervals may extend as regrowth slows. We'll recommend a personalized schedule during your consultation to optimize results.
