Most clients enjoy smooth results for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth. Regular waxing can lengthen intervals between sessions; factors like hormones, genetics, and at-home exfoliation affect regrowth timing.
Arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about a quarter-inch long. Avoid heavy lotions, recent tanning, or exfoliation within 24 hours. Inform your esthetician about medications or skin treatments beforehand for a safe, effective service.
We can accommodate sensitive skin. Estheticians may perform a patch test, select gentler waxes and techniques, and adjust pressure to minimize irritation. Follow our post-care advice to soothe skin and reduce potential reactions.
No — waxing removes hair from the root, so regrowth typically appears finer and softer over time. Regular waxing often reduces visible density; hair may feel slower to return but not thicker.
For best results, hair should be roughly a quarter-inch (about 6 mm) long so the wax can grip. If hair is longer, we may trim slightly; too short hair may not be effectively removed.
Aftercare includes avoiding hot baths, saunas, and intense exercise for 24–48 hours. Wear breathable clothing, skip tanning and heavy exfoliation for two days, and apply soothing gel or lotion to reduce redness and irritation.
