Get answers to common questions about Neck.
Most clients enjoy hair-free necks for about three to six weeks, depending on individual growth cycles. Regular waxing often delays regrowth and thins hair over time. We recommend scheduling appointments every four to six weeks for consistent, polished results.
Waxing causes brief discomfort as hair is removed, but our estheticians use gentle techniques and premium wax to minimize pain. Avoid caffeine, exfoliate lightly beforehand, and breathe deeply. Numbing creams may be available on request for particularly sensitive clients.
Ensure hair is at least a quarter-inch long so the wax can grip properly. Arrive with clean, dry skin and avoid lotions, oils, or heavy products. Tell us about medications like retinoids so we can adjust treatment safely.
Some clients experience temporary redness or occasional ingrown hairs. We use proper technique, post-wax soothing products, and exfoliation advice to reduce risks. If you have sensitive or reactive skin, inform your esthetician and follow aftercare to help prevent complications.
Neck waxing can be safe for sensitive or acne-prone skin when performed carefully. We assess skin condition first, use gentle wax and techniques, and recommend specific aftercare. If you have active severe acne or open lesions, we may postpone treatment until healed.
Avoid shaving between waxing visits; shaving removes hair at the surface and can interfere with waxing results. If regrowth becomes noticeable, wait until hair reaches about a quarter-inch. Light trims are acceptable but disclose any at your appointment.
