Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Underarm.

Most clients enjoy smooth underarms for about three to six weeks, depending on hair growth cycle and individual rate. Regular waxing can extend the interval between appointments as hairs become finer and grow more slowly over time.

Ensure hair is about a quarter-inch long, exfoliate gently 24-48 hours beforehand, avoid heavy creams or deodorant on the day, and arrive with clean, dry skin to help your esthetician perform a safe, effective wax.

Sensation varies, but most clients report quick, sharp discomfort that fades immediately. To minimize pain, avoid caffeine beforehand, breathe steadily during treatment, schedule when relaxed, and consider applying a calming topical aftercare product recommended by your esthetician.

For best results hair should be about 1/4 inch (roughly 6mm) long so the wax can grip effectively. If hair is too short we may reschedule; too long can be trimmed slightly before waxing for comfort.

We avoid waxing over sunburn, open wounds, active rashes, severe acne, or areas treated recently with chemical peels or strong retinoids. Inform your esthetician about medications like Accutane or other skin sensitivities before booking.

Typically schedule every three to six weeks based on your hair growth and personal preference. After several sessions you may extend intervals as hair becomes finer; your esthetician will recommend an optimal routine to maintain smooth, comfortable underarms.
